Music history was made in Seattle this week. The Bergevin Brothers wrote and produced a new song, "Fired Up, Ready to Go!(06:27), and YouTube video of the recording session.
There is also a slideshow of the recording session for this song of support for the Senator Obama Presidential 2008 Campaign--featuring Pearl Jam Drummer Matt Cameron and the Total Experience Gospel Choir.
Edith Childs, who invited Barack Obama to Greenwood, Mississippi and introduced him to "Fired Up, Ready to Go" mantra, has now heard the song and told the Bergevin brothers that she likes it.
From time to time, those of us who are urgently and diligently working to "take our country back" are drawn to one of our own who needs our assistance. Susan Hu has been blogging on Kos, Booman Tribune and more recently on No Quarter for some years now, but her health issues call us to action today.
I was able to attend a luncheon with Michelle Obama at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle on July 25th. I am sharing my notes from her speech as an antidote to that coverage.
