As has been discussed all over the Blogosphere, David Shuster reported on MSNBC that Valerie Plame was actively working on investigating Iran's nuclear aspirations when she was outed some three years ago. Conventional wisdom indicates that she was outed in order to attack her husband, Joe Wilson, who was criticizing the Bush Administration's claims about Iraq's nuclear capabilites. However, with some imagination, some other interesting points, and a tinfoil hat, another reason for the Plame outing presents itself.
